BASS COAST

BASS COAST

Just over an hour's drive from Melbourne you’ll reach the spectacular Bass Coast, the perfect place for your conference event in any season. There are few coastlines in Australia that can claim the heritage, natural interest and scenic beauty of Bass Coast while also providing you with a range of conference venues, accommodation options, and activities and attractions to keep your delegates entertained.

However you choose to build your team or engage your delegates, Bass Coast has lots of activities and attractions to choose from. Explore the Bunurong Coastal Drive with a visit to Eagles Nest or the Dinosaur Dig, visit the Wonthaggi State Coal Mine, or the Bunurong Environment Centre and Shell Museum. Your conference participants can enjoy a full range of water based activities along the coast with recreational boating, fishing, sailing, snorkelling, scuba diving and windsurfing. Or if you are after something to do ‘on land’, there is always the option to play a round of golf or paint ball, or ride/walk the Bass Coast Rail Trail... and that’s just for starters.

From farmer’s markets to restaurants and cafes, Bass Coast makes a point of showcasing the amazing local and fresh produce that is grown right on our doorstep. Your delegates will revel in tasting some of the best local produce including a range of cool climate wines, handcrafted cheeses and chocolates.  While well known as a land of dairy farmers, beef producers, cheese makers, fishermen and artisans of all types, the Bass Coast region also boasts many wineries and vineyards.
